Mission and vision
Present since 1989, Diabète Outaouais inc. seeks to inform, raise awareness, and prevent diabetes for the entire population of Outaouais. Totally independent and offering its services exclusively in Outaouais, Diabète Outaouais invests all its efforts in improving the lives of people with diabetes, as well as their loved ones, in the Outaouais. The association offers free conferences, cooking classes, a documentation center, moral support, networking opportunities, and other activities aimed at improving diabetes screening and treatment.
Providing information by having an office open Monday to Friday year-round to serve members and the community. Documentation, recipe books and books are available for loan. In addition, our website and Facebook page are relevant information resources.

Board of directors
The association's board of directors is made up of seven volunteer positions with a mandate of two years.
